About Single 60s: friendship and dating after 60
Online since 2014, for people over 60 who want good company, romance or someone to share the years ahead with.
Made for life after 60
Single 60s is a friendship and dating site for people over 60. It has been online since 2014. Some people join for company and conversation, some for romance, some in the hope of a partner to share the next chapter with. Registering is free and takes a few minutes, and every adult aged 18 or over is welcome.
The site is deliberately simple. You will not be asked to take a long personality test or to pay before you can see who is there. You write about yourself, set the ages and distance you are interested in, and the site suggests people each day. You can also search for yourself and write to anyone who interests you.
Who runs it
Single 60s runs on the HubPeople dating platform, which also handles membership, payments, moderation and member support. That is why the safety features are the same ones used across a large family of dating sites: usernames instead of real names, only your nearest town shown, screening of every photo and profile, free ID and video checks, and a support team that is available 24 hours a day. You can read about each on our safety page.
Why we're here
To help members find love by connecting them with like-minded singles, with respect and honesty at the heart of everything we do. For many people that means a partner. For others it means a friend to call on a Sunday, someone to go to concerts with, or simply a good conversation at the end of the day. All of those count.
Eight rules that keep it a kind place
- Adults only. Members must be 18 or over.
- Genuine people. Measures are in place so only real people join, and members may not advertise goods or services.
- Be kind. Treat people the way you would like to be treated, and turn people down politely.
- Be tolerant. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and every other kind of hate are not allowed.
- Be safe. Keep first conversations on the site, never share bank details, and never send money or gift cards.
- Be discreet. Only approach a member in public if they have said that is welcome.
- Respect boundaries. No means no, and ask before sharing any image.
- Follow the law. Nothing about illegal activity, in words or pictures.
